Job Description

Your superhero strengths:

• Manage and design DB2 LUW servers
• Maintain a high-availability DB2 LUW environment
• Utilize DB2 LUW Data Movement Utilities
• Create and manage DB2 objects
• Monitor and optimize SQL performance
• Provide support for database and performance issues, particularly for Java JDBC applications

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Unix
• Experienced with RHEL Enterprise Linux
• Knowledgeable in DB2 LUW (Version 10.1, 10.5, 11.5)
• Proficient in complex SQL applications and optimization
• Familiar with DB2 Utilities for database and object maintenance
• Experience with high-availability DB2 environments (pureScale)
• Familiar with DB2 security measures for data protection
• Skillful in database restore and backup concepts for DB2
