Job Description

Your superhero strengths:

• Manage and design DB2 LUW servers.
• Build and operate a high-availability DB2 LUW environment ensuring continuous operation.
• Utilize DB2 LUW's data movement utilities efficiently.
• Create and manage DB2 objects.
• Monitor and optimize SQL performance.
• Support database and performance issues, especially with Java JDBC applications.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Unix.
• Experience with RHEL Enterprise Linux.
• Proven expertise in DB2 LUW versions 10.1, 10.5, and 11.5.
• Skilled in applying and optimizing complex SQL statements.
• Experience with DB2 utilities for database maintenance.
• Familiarity with high-availability environments (purescale) and DB2 security features.
• Knowledge of database restore and backup concepts.
• Strong team and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
