• Planning, implementing, and managing infrastructure systems
• Monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining infrastructure systems
• Creating system documentation, risk assessments, and report management
• Managing and overseeing local and central network components
• Answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members
• Monitoring relevant parts of the infrastructure and ensuring strategy implementation, including developing necessary test tools (scripting) and integrating them into existing monitoring systems
• Testing and preparing the deployment of new network technologies
• Supporting the implementation and operation of a network infrastructure connecting multiple locations across Austria, including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network components (switches, routers, firewalls, WAN connections, etc.)

Requirements

• Knowledge of protocols in the context of network infrastructure operations such as SSH, TFTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF
• Experience operating LAN and SAN infrastructure within a data center
• IT Security expertise
• Experience with Linux-based systems
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies (Cisco IOS, ACI, ISE) and automation solutions (e.g., Ansible, Cisco ACI)
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash)
• Willingness to document concepts in writing
• Commitment to personal development
