Job Description

Your superhero strengths:

• Install, remove, and maintain all devices in the storage area (diagnose and replace faulty components; software updates)
• Manage storage virtualization (create, move, release LUNs; software updates)
• Physical cabling in the SAN and storage area
• SAN zoning
• Support at the operating system level (Windows, Linux, VMware) for system administrators (multipathing, error recovery)
• Document all relevant components
• Monitor infrastructure components and ensure strategy implementation, including performance monitoring and analysis
• Maintain performance and redundancy goals by implementing necessary software and hardware components
• Participate in planning the future evolution of the storage system
• Contribute to the automation of tasks
• Identify and resolve issues in existing concepts
• Plan and conduct tests to validate existing or newly developed strategies (e.g., failure tests, recovery tests)

Requirements

• HTL/Matura with 5 years of professional experience or a Bachelor's/Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience
• Willingness for continuous education, reading technical publications, and expanding personal-professional networks
• Teamwork skills
• Communication skills
• Commitment
• Proficiency in German
